On the evening of March 4, the 25th CUBAL (Chinese University Basketball League) All-Star Night was held in Chongqing. Zhou Qimo, HQU men’s basketball player, won the championship of the 3-Point Contest again.

The two players made it to the final were Zhou Qimo from HQU and Hu Pifu from Guizhou University. Zhou was the first to play. His increasing confidence and stability could be seen from the first three positions, and with 10 goals in a row, he scored 21 points; while Hu also performed quite well, and kept a good field goal percentage (FG%) in the first four positions, but failed the last point. Therefore he missed the championship by only one point. Zhou once again won the “3-Point King” after his debut show on the 23rd CUBAL All-Star Night in 2021.

In addition, Zhou also played as the All-Star member, scoring key points and hitting decisive 3-pointer which contributes to the final win in the CUBAL All-Star game.

“Winning the 3-point championship again gives me more confidence and courage,” said Zhou, “I will continue to devote every effort to keep my best and help the team win more games.”
