Team of Prof. Xie Shuifen from College of Material Science and Engineering, Huaqiao University (HQU), published a paper entitled "Replicating the Defect Structures on Ultrathin Rh Nanowires with Pt to Achieve Superior Electrocatalytic Activity toward Ethanol Oxidation" in the world leading journal Advanced Functional Materials recently, which marks the significant progress in the field of metal nanocatalysis. Advanced Functional Materials, subordinate to Wiley-VCH, Germany, is a top journal in the field of materials science with its impact factor of 13.325.
The research, led by Prof. Xie Shuifen and jointly accomplished by graduate students from class of 2019 --- Liu Kai (as the first author), Wang Wei, Wang Yuanyuan, Lv Zixi and Li Pingting, is sponsored by National Science Foundation of China (21771067), Outstanding Youth Project of Fujian Natural Science Foundation (2017J06005), HQU Scientific Research Fund and HQU Innovation Fund for Graduate Students.
