Breakthrough: Nature Publishes the First HQU Paper

      On October 11th Beijing Time, the world’s leading science journal Nature published a online research paper entitled "Perovskite Light-Emitting Diodes with External Quantum Efficiency Exceeding 20%", with Professor Wei Zhanhua from the College of Materials Science & Engineering of Huaqiao University being the first corresponding author, doctoral candidate Lin Kebin the first author, and Huaqiao University the first affiliation. This is the first HQU paper ever published in Nature, a breakthrough for the university in fundamental research.

      Professor Wei Zhanhua graduated from the Chemistry Department of Xiamen University with a bachelor's degree in July 2011 and from the Department of Chemistry of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a PhD degree in August 2015. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of Nanyang Technological University during September 2015 to July 2016 before joining the College of Materials Science & Engineering, Huaqiao University. He leads a research group with primary research interests in perovskite based optoelectronic devices: light-emitting diodes and perovskite solar cells. He has published over 10 papers on journals such as Energy & Environmental Science and Angewandte Chemie. The present publication marks a significant progress in the field of perovskite electroluminescence.
