WeChat is a mobile text and voice messaging communication service developed by Tencent in China, first released in January 2011. It’s comparable to WhatsApp and has an abundance of features. WeChat is available on Android, iOS, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone platforms. It is available in multiple languages such as Chinese, English, Korean, Japanese, French, etc. WeChat has multiple features including video chat, voice calling, messaging, games, QR code scanning and much much more.
